Research Interests |
Electromechanical design, modeling, and control, particularly as applied to
medical systems. Image-guided surgery. Medical robotics. Continuously flexible
dexterous needle-sized robot manipulators, and steerable needles. Pill-sized
swallowable legged robots. Biosensors for nerve tension. Human-Machine
Interfaces and haptics for surgical training and/or teleoperation.
