a tenure-track
faculty position at
the Assistant
Professor level for
Fall 2009.
Exceptional
candidates will be
considered for
appointment at the
Associate or Full
Professor rank.
Candidates are
expected to
contribute to
one of three
research focus
areas: biomolecular
engineering,
nanotechnology, and
energy and the
environment. A Ph.D.
with a distinguished
academic record is
required.
Responsibilities
include teaching
undergraduate and
graduate courses and
leading an
externally funded,
scholarly research
program. Ranked in
the top 20
nationally,
Vanderbilt
