The Master of
Engineering is an advanced professional degree
program that combines the best aspects of an
advanced professional degree with the flexibility of
continuing education to prepare professionals for
higher-level engineering practice. The program
places strong emphasis on advanced technology,
design and business-related courses.

Admission Requirements Those applying directly from undergraduate school must be graduated with a B average in engineering or a related scientific discipline. Those applying for admission to the integrated B.E./M.E. Degree program may apply during their senior year of undergraduate study in engineering or related discipline. They must have a B average in courses relevant to their major program. Applicants enrolling after a period of work experience must submit a record of satisfactory undergraduate performance and three letters of recommendation attesting to their professional experience. A maximum of six hours of graduate-level work may be transferred from another institution. Residence requirements are determined by the major program. Degree Requirements A minimum of 30 semester hours is required. These credits include a minimum of 15 semester hours in the candidate's major area of study, a minimum of six semester hours of design, which must include a design project.
