Department & Program: Biomedical Engineering

Outside interests/activities: National Society of Black Engineers, Vice President Zion's Inspiration Bible Study, Vice President Black Student Alliance Voices of Praise Gospel Choir

Why Vanderbilt: I was initially attracted to Vanderbilt's mid-size population and high expectations. Upon visiting the campus in the fall of my senior year in high school, I fell in love with the wonderful people, exciting programs, and beautiful campus.  It was an atmosphere that I felt I could really call a home away from home.

Likes best about Vanderbilt Engineering: Vanderbilt Engineering, in all disciplines, has a well organized 4-year program.  We have the ability to take liberal arts classes and explore interests in other subjects in addition to engineering.  Also, the professors are very helpful and available for one-on-one assistance.
