Department & Program: Biomedical Engineering

Outside interests/activities: Piano, Local Vice President for Manna Project International, Club Volleyball, Conexión Américas English language mentor, running.

Why Vanderbilt: Vanderbilt not only allows, but encourages interdisciplinary study, so I've been able to major in both engineering and music. The student body is incredibly active both on campus and in the community—you can find a group or club to suit almost any interest.

Likes best about Vanderbilt Engineering: The students are motivated, dedicated, and work well together; the professors are accessible, reasonable, and always willing to help you out.
