Department & Program: Civil Engineering

Hometown: Las Vegas, NV

Outside interests/activities: Resident Advisor, ASCE, VSVS, V^2 Mentoring.

Why Vanderbilt: Vanderbilt was the most well-rounded of all the schools that I researched.  Even though, it had a phenomenal engineering program, I felt like I would be student of Vanderbilt University, and not just the School of Engineering.  Vanderbilt had both a reputation of a rigorous university, and the students looked like they wanted to be there.

Likes best about Vanderbilt Engineering: I like that the professors in your department remember you long after having taken their class.
