Department & Program: Mechanical Engineering

Outside interests/activities: Member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority, President of Society of Women Engineers, V2 mentor, ENGAGE member.  In my free time, I enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors with friends and family.

Why Vanderbilt: I love that I can live in the heart of a city and still be surrounded by trees!  You get all of the benefits of a city (music, food, overall culture) without giving up nature.   The student body is also extremely dynamic.  Each student is passionate about something and more than willing to get you involved.

Likes best about Vanderbilt Engineering: I like the small student body.  After awhile, you build relationships with almost everyone in your class.  It makes classes more fun and adds to the overall experience.
