Greg Gmoser(Expects to graduate 2009 in CHE)

Department & Program: Chemical Engineering

Outside interests/activities: Vandy Fanatics, Synergy mentoring program

Why Vanderbilt: I chose Vanderbilt because I felt like it gave me the greatest opportunity of any of the colleges I was considering to study outside of the field of engineering.  I liked that there was some focus on liberal arts in addition to the engineering curriculum. Additionally, I really liked the campus and the city of Nashville.

Likes best about Vanderbilt Engineering: The professors know what they are talking about and are always willing to help out.  From the students, the relationship is one of cooperation rather than competition, making it easier to learn the material.
